As part of our campaign 'Show Us Your 22', we have joined forces with Mike McCastle an amazing superhuman Navy Veteran.
Based on the fact that 22 Veterans per day take their own lives.
We asked our nation, what positive actions can be done as a community using the number 22 (per hour, day, week or year) to have an impact on Veteran Suicide?
Mike McCastle has risen to the challenge and has chosen something incredible:
Mike will be doing live video feeds from Death Valley starting around 5 am Sunday (5/22/16) until completion (18-22 hours later).
His Facebook page is: https://www.facebook.com/michael.mccastle
Mike was doing pull-ups and signing autographs at our huge Veterans Resource Fair on Saturday 4/30 9-3 at the Tacoma Dome.

Email: | I'm proud to support a Veteran Superman, Mike, who is going to pull a 2.2 Ton Truck for 22 miles to raise awareness of the statistic of 22 Veterans that take their own lives per day. Mike is raising funds for the National Alliance to End Veteran Suicide 501(C)3 and their #ShowUsYour22 campaign. The NA2EVS goal is to find 1000 donors to pledge Mike on a per mile pulled basis. It can be $1/mile, $2/mile, $5/mileā¦ anything helps. Will you please join me to help this cause and share this link with a few of your friends as well? http://wwww.na2evs.org/TruckPull |

So far Mike has succeeded in a number of breakthrough challenges, including breaking the Guinness World Record for most pull-ups in a 24-hour period--while wearing a 30-pound pack, flipping a 250 pound tire for 13 miles and climbing a rope the height of Mt Everest.
